BELECTRIC opens office in Berlin

BELECTRIC opens another German office in the centrally located district of Berlin-Mitte. In the presence of Jaroslav Macek, CEO of BELECTRIC's parent company Elevion Group, Jan Kalina, board member at CEZ, and the BELECTRIC Managing Directors Thorsten Blanke and Daniel Rehm, the capital office was inaugurated. Thanks to desk sharing, the Franconian solar company’s new office offers almost 30 workplaces for employees from all company divisions. With its fifth office in Germany to date, BELECTRIC is expanding its network of locations. In addition to the good accessibility of the location for employees, the proximity to relevant customers, associations and political activities were important reasons for the decision.

"For us as an internationally operating company with employees from more than 20 nations, an office in the German capital is an important step. As part of the energy industry, it is enormously important for us to be close to political decisions. We are therefore involved in the different relevant industry associations. In addition, the new location will also help us attract all the employees we need to continue our growth path. We were already able to welcome the first new employee to the office", explains Thorsten Blanke, Managing Director of BELECTRIC. “Furthermore, employees who had moved from Berlin to Franconia to work at BELECTRIC are back in the capital and working in the new office.”

The headquarters of the solar company will remain in Kolitzheim near Schweinfurt in Lower Franconia. Here, BELECTRIC employs more than 280 people in a wide range of areas – from Engineering and Project Management to Sales. In Kolitzheim, the medium-sized company also trains young people in eight different commercial and technical professions every year.
