Elevion Group acquires energy contracting portfolio from BRASST EDL in Germany
Elevion Group, a European provider of decarbonisation, energy efficiency and distributed energy solutions, has acquired an energy contracting portfolio from BRASST Energiedienstleistungsgesellschaft mbH through its German subsidiary Elevion Energy GmbH.
The acquired portfolio comprises 43 energy generation sites across Germany, approximately 120 heat generation units and related infrastructure. The assets have a combined installed capacity of approximately 22.6 MW thermal and 0.7 MW electrical. The transaction also includes long-term customer contracts for the supply of heat, electricity and cooling, as well as the transfer of four employees.
The portfolio serves customers from the residential, commercial and public sectors. Its locations are primarily situated in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hamburg, Berlin-Brandenburg, Saxony and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
“This acquisition is a strong strategic fit and an important step in expanding our energy contracting business in Germany. The portfolio complements our existing activities and provides a solid platform for further growth, enabling us to deliver increasingly efficient and lower-carbon energy solutions to our customers.”
Holger Suschowk, Elevion Energy
The portfolio includes a mix of technologies, including gas and biomethan-fired combined heat and power units, boiler systems, heat pumps and heat transfer stations. Selected assets offer further potential for modernisation and the implementation of decarbonisation measures.
